POLICIES

This is a safe space for everyone to enjoy. We welcome all races, all religions, all countries of origin, all sexual orientations and all genders.

We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our attempt to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored.  We understand that life can be unpredictable and we do try to be flexible.  Cancellation due to illness is forgiven in most scenarios. We appreciate you considering our staff and extended community in making that decision.

  • Bathing suit is required while using the sauna.  

    We provide you with a towel, robe, and sauna shoes. Our facilities include access to private toilet, private shower, communal locker room with private changing stall, and communal lounge area.

    The cold plunge and cold shower are complementary services offered with all sauna bookings. The cold plunge is closed on occasion for maintenance.

    Be sure to read the Sauna Precautions before you visit to insure your own health + safety.

  • Arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. We are unable to guarantee early access to our space before that period.​ Please only press the FORMATION door buzzer; do not press the buzzer’s of other tenants. We will gladly buzz you in 15 minutes prior to the start of your appointment.

    Parking can be challenging in our neighborhood on weekends because of the buzzing neighborhood shops and restaurants! Please plan accordingly to arrive with enough time to locate parking and pay special attention to time limits. For additional parking suggestions and a parking map, click here.

  • For the sake of staff and guests, please do not visit the sauna if you are experiencing fever, cold, cough, flu, stomach virus or any other communicable illness.

    Cancellation due to illness is forgiven in most scenarios. We appreciate you considering our staff and extended community in making that decision.

  • Sauna use is not permitted during pregnancy. You are welcome to enjoy use of our relaxing lounge space while the remainder of your party uses the sauna. You may enjoy the sauna once you are no longer pregnant - a perfect postpartum recovery session! 

    Pregnant clients beyond their first trimester (weeks 1-13) are welcome to book a Prenatal Massage! Massage is not recommended for clients in their first trimester based on massage therapy and healthcare standards of practice.

    • Please note that Gift Certificates are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you can no longer use a gift certificate that you purchased or that you received, we suggest re-gifting it to another special person.

    • Gift Certificates expire one year after the date of purchase.

    • Gratuity cannot be included in the gift certificate purchase.

    • To book your appointment using a gift certificate please follow either of these protocols:

    1. Email or call us to schedule. Have the gift certificate code handy to share with us; it’s located on the barcode of the gift certificate.

    2. Book online as you normally would, and proceed with entering your credit card information. Our payment system requires a credit card on file to hold a deposit for the appointment. Include your gift certificate code in the appointment notes; it’s located on the barcode of the gift certificate. Once you come in for your appointment, we remove the hold from your credit card and place the payment on the gift certificate.

  • To receive a full refund of your appointment deposit, we require cancellation notification a minimum of 24-hours prior. If you cancel/reschedule your appointment in less than 24 hours of the scheduled session, it is considered a "Late Cancellation" and are subject to full payment for the original session.

  • Clients who: cancel the same day or with less than 24-hour notice, forget, consciously choose to forgo their appointment will be considered a No-Show and forfeit the entirety of their deposit. They will be charged in full for the missed appointment. 

  • If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate appointments that follow yours.  You will be responsible for payment of the full session. Time is valuable so please plan accordingly and arrive on time.

  • You can easily see full availability on the schedule as well as book online, email or call to schedule your visit. Please call or email to book multiple services for more than one guest.

  • Gratuity for your massage therapist or sauna host is accepted via cash and Venmo, and is encouraged at the rate of 20% of the service price. Please remember that gratuity is an important part of your service provider’s compensation and a great way to show your appreciate. Gratuity cannot be included in a gift certificate purchase.

  • Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to go over your Wellness Intake Form, which we email you at the time of booking. Be sure to fill out this questionnaire in advance to ensure the maximum amount of hands-on time and leave you feeling your best.

  • We provide filtered water and hot herbal tea for all of our guests. Guests are welcome to bring light snacks but please keep it mess-free and the smells neutral. No alcohol is permitted with sauna or massage bookings for the health and safety of all clients.

  • Masks are optional and up to your discretion and comfort. For the wellbeing of our community, we reserve the right to ask you to wear a mask if you show signs of cold/cough.
